Record and resolve differences between expected and observed outcome figures. ## Meaning A discrepancy says that two sources do not currently reconcile. It does not assume either source is wrong. Expected and observed figures remain verbatim. ## Commercial state An open amount, count, or definition discrepancy makes the affected unit uncertain. An open dispute makes it disputed and not currently final or payable under policy.
